The US Securities and Exchange Commission on Saturday charged Houston, Texas-based Tyler Loudon with insider trading, after he allegedly became aware of oil- and gas producer BP’s acquisition of truck stop and travel center operator TravelCenters of America ahead of the announcement – by eavesdropping on his BP mergers and acquisition manager wife’s work-from-home calls.
