NFL to take 10% stake in ESPN in new media rights deal

The NFL and ESPN announced on Tuesday that the league and the cable television giant had agreed to a deal that will see the NFL Network channel and other NFL assets headed to ESPN in exchange for a 10% equity stake in the Disney-owned network.
